ARLINGTON, Va. -- Shipments of manufactured homes were down 8 percent in July compared with July 2004, according to the Manufactured Housing Institute's flash report released Tuesday.
The market saw a 3.9 percent decrease in single-section and a 9.1 decline in multi-section shipments.
Last month, 9,234 new HUD-Code homes were shipped, compared with 10,033 homes shipped one year ago.
