Average, median single-family home prices rise in July

The average and median prices of previously owned single-family homes sold in the Denver area set new highs in July, topping the records set in June, but buyers still have the upper hand.
The local market is poised to be one of the strongest in the nation in coming years as other previously hot markets start to cool, a top housing economist said on Tuesday.
