Home foreclosures creep up: "Home foreclosure activity is still historically low but creeping up in San Joaquin County as appreciation rates have slowed.

According to the real estate information service DataQuick Information Systems of La Jolla, foreclosure activity in the county picked up 4 percent, increasing from 446 in the fourth quarter of 2004 to 464 in the fourth quarter of 2005."
