Closing but house is not finished

Agents Online Real Estate Idea Center: Closing but house is not finished: "I'm closing my current home and closing a new home that we had built this Thursday. The new home still has a lot of work and I doubt it will be completely finished before we close. My question is how to with-hold funds at closing until the builder completes everything. Does this need to be disclosed before closing? Will I need a real estate lawyer to do this or can I notify the mortage company lawyer? "
